Direct answer

KDP Free (US$0) currently includes KITE UDS Tester, KITE Calibrator, and KITE Reflasher. Engineers who need KITE Pulse for in-vehicle network measurement can start a free trial of KDP Standard, currently US$39 per month. All four tools use the same KDP account and KDP Hub for licensing, installation, and updates; see KDP Pricing for current terms.

All four are part of the KITE automotive engineering toolchain, but each handles a different job. Choose UDS Tester for diagnostics and test automation, Pulse for in-vehicle network measurement, Reflasher for firmware programming, and Calibrator for calibration and DAQ measurement.

How to use Free or start a Standard trial

  1. Open KDP Sign In and enter your work email.
  2. Use the one-time code sent to your inbox to register or sign in without a password.
  3. Download the 64-bit installer for Windows 10 or later from KDP Download Hub.
  4. Select KITE UDS Tester, KITE Pulse, KITE Reflasher, or KITE Calibrator in KDP Hub, install it, and create a project.

This is a self-service path; you do not need to schedule a product demo first. Contact KopherBit when you need enterprise licensing, CAN-interface selection, a Seed / Key DLL, ECU integration, or deployment support.

KITE UDS Tester: ODX-driven UDS automation

KITE UDS Tester is designed for engineers who run ISO 14229 services, test DID / DTC / Routine behavior, validate SecurityAccess, or generate cases from ODX / PDX. It converts service, state, timing, positive and negative response, and functional-addressing definitions into batch-executable cases with response, NRC, trace, and report evidence.

For quick diagnostic bring-up, the request / response workspace can also send an individual SID without first building a complete automation project.

KITE Pulse: in-vehicle network measurement and analysis

KITE Pulse captures CAN, CAN FD, LIN, and Automotive Ethernet communication and works with DBC, LDF, ARXML, SOME/IP, and SecOC data. Its composable workspace combines live trace, signals, transmit controls, simulation, recording, and replay for communication and signal troubleshooting.

KITE Pulse is included in KDP Standard and can be tried free. Standard is currently US$39 per month and includes up to 30 days of offline access and email support; KDP shows current terms.

KITE Reflasher: UDS-on-CAN ECU flashing

KITE Reflasher supports bootloader bring-up, ECU application updates, and production or service flashing validation. It handles HEX, S-record, BIN, and VBF and provides configurable steps for SessionControl, SecurityAccess, RoutineControl, RequestDownload, TransferData, RequestTransferExit, CRC verification, and ECUReset.

Engineers can retain flashing projects, memory sectors, execution results, and ASC traces for debugging and delivery evidence.

KITE Calibrator: XCP calibration and DAQ measurement

KITE Calibrator reads A2L, resolves ELF symbols, tunes scalar / curve / map / array data online, and configures DAQ / ODT acquisition. Numeric and graphic pages, MF4 / ASC recorders, CAN / XCP trace, and PAR / CDFX / CSV comparison connect measurement with parameter delivery.

The Virtual ECU Demo provides a hardware-free way to explore the calibration and measurement workflow. A real ECU connection still requires matching A2L / ELF data, XCP settings, and a supported CAN interface.

Frequently asked questions

Which tools are in Free and which are in Standard?

KDP Free includes KITE UDS Tester, KITE Reflasher, and KITE Calibrator. KITE Pulse is included in Standard, which can be tried free. Pro and additional tools are planned for a future release; scope and pricing will be announced later.

Can I download without registering?

The tools are delivered through a KDP account and KDP Hub. Complete the one-time work-email verification to access the download and installation flow.

Does the free trial include hardware?

Software access does not include a CAN interface or ECU. UDS Tester, Pulse, and Reflasher need a compatible interface for physical communication; Calibrator offers a Virtual ECU Demo, while real calibration also requires interface hardware and matching project data.

Which tool should I install first?

Start with KITE UDS Tester for UDS services or ODX cases, KITE Pulse for network analysis, KITE Reflasher for firmware download, and KITE Calibrator for XCP calibration and measurement. They can also be used together in one ECU development workflow.
